Continuity is a very smooth flashgame for the browser. The creator really understood, how to create flow with music, volume levels and a clean and puzzly webdesign. It is not only the effect-side of this game, that is interesting, but also the gameplay itself is worth a look. It’s basically a platformer, but you can rearrange the position of the single level parts. Really nice game! Pick of the week. I guess!

Amazing worh from an amazing artist. Lois van Baarle did drawing all her live, she writes on her website (just check out the illustations at the site, cool stuff anyway). This video is the graduation animation for the Utrecht School of the Arts, some really futuristic work. And it somehow really got a certain “message”: think different, in the truest sense of the words. This is an advertiment for Trichrome.

The guys at the Indiegames-weblog had a really nice finding of a Megaman-like game. Nezumiman is very close to the gameplay of the, let’s say NES-version of Megaman, but what makes this game so special are the cute cute graphics and the cute and catchy music. Instant love, if you would ask me. Perfect game for this winter!

Rotated Google is a funky tweak, that some of you have looooooooong waited for. One of the problems with computers and laptops are, that they are not *that* convenient, when you lie in your bed – head on the side. Rotated Google can solve this problem. You get the same internet, but rotated in 90 degrees. Feel free to surf from there. Another perspective sometimes opens new views upon things. (via)

The Evil Mad Scientist just released a smaller version of their “Peggy Board 2″. It’s an open-source LED board, with 25×25 LEDs, that can be programmed and controlled by microcontrollers and – new – also by serial port. The original “fat one” Peggy Board had 10mm (!) LEDs. Now they constructed a smaller one, because “some people needed higher resolution”. Maybe because some people began to build larger displays containing of Peggy Boards. Anyway.. the whole thing is not only very very beautiful, but can be assembled at home for the cost of the hardware. The kit can be directly ordered at the Evil Mad Science shop.

I can’t tell exactly, what is so cool about Saintrooper, but there is some magic included to this freeware game for Windows. This platformer got plain level-graphics like Boulder Dash has for example, the controls and action reminds me little bit on games like “Gargoyles Quest”. You can jump, climb on walls, have to find keys, unlock doors, rescue friends and defeat big boss enemies. Sounds like arcade? Yes! The game also feels a little bit of a Japanese action game – no wonder. It is from Japan, so find your way through the foreign letters at the download page. Some hours of action-arcade fun will be guaranteed to you!
